The Bible

We believe the Bible to be the revealed, inerrant, infallible Word of God, fully and verbally inspired of God, as found within the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation. (2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17) God not only inspired every word, but that He has preserved them through the ages. We believe that the King James Version is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people and our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (Psalm 12:6-7; 1 Peter 1:23-25).

God

We believe in one God; Who is eternal, self-existent, infinite, and immutable. We believe He has one nature, one essence, and one substance; yet manifests Himself to man in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Timothy 1:17; John 14:10)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit of God is a person who has all the attributes of Deity. We believe the Holy Spirit has a ministry of convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit was also sent to dwell in the heart of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 12:13; John 3:5-6; John 14:16-17)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ to be the one and only Saviour of mankind. (John 1:1-15) We believe Jesus Christ to be eternally God and to possess all the attributes of Deity. (Philippians 2:5-11; Luke 1:35) The Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, and He lived a perfect, sinless life in order to redeem mankind. (Isaiah 7:4; 9:6; Matthew 1:23-25)

Sin

We believe the first man, Adam, was created in the image of God, but chose to sin by disobeying God, bringing physical death as well as spiritual death to the human race. Now all of mankind exists with an inherited sinful nature. (Genesis 3:9-19; 5:1-5; Romans 3:10-23; Romans 5:6-12; Romans 6:23; Titus 3:5-6; Revelation 20:11-14)

The Sacrifice of Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ was offered for all mankind as a substitutionary payment for the sin of the world by His death through the shedding of His blood on the cross.(Romans 5:8-10; Romans 3:23-25) He physically arose from the dead and then ascended into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father. (Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4) The only hope for man is through repentance of sin and a personal trust in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-13; Ephesians 2:8-9)

The New Testament Church

We believe that the church began with the calling out of the twelve apostles by Jesus Christ and was empowered on the day of Pentecost. The local church is composed of members who have been saved and baptized according to the command of Christ, and have voluntarily united together for the purposes of worship, fellowship, service, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and communion. (Acts 2:41-43; Ephesians 1:22-23; 4:15-16; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 25-27; 1 Timothy 3:4-15)

The Last Days

We believe in the pre-tribulational rapture of the church, followed by the seven-year tribulation of unbelievers who are left behind, after which Christ will return to the earth to rule for 1,000 years. Following this is the Great White Throne judgment where all unbelievers will be judged and cast in the Lake of Fire, separated from God forever. Believers will then spend eternity in heaven with the Savior. (Matthew 24:29-42; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19-22)
